Getting a family of 5 ready for pictures is hard enough – pinks or reds, strips or plaid, the stresses of taking pictures start DAYS before the photo shoot is scheduled. Then add having to make 3 kids try to cooperate for a couple hours during the photo shoot leading you to think “who’s idea was this”??
Yes, I’m the mom and it was my idea. I called Jackie Petersen Photography. And ya know what- it was a good idea! I can say in all honesty that Jackie made a once before tedious task of taking pictures into an enjoyable afternoon! She let the kids run and captured great candid shots throughout the session. Posing a few family pictures was easy because she kept the kids attention by singing silly songs. She is a true mom and understands the stresses that can come with taking family pictures and makes the session go as smooth as possible!
I probably don’t need to say much more because these pictures speak for themselves. Jackie is a VERY talented photographer! She is the kindest person you’ll ever meet, super flexible, great with children, and fun to be around! She was quick to get my pictures to me and I was so pleased with her work!

I love the Baby Lincoln photo shoot! Being a relatively new mom, I love the natural beauty of new parents with their new addition. New parents have a glow about them and there is nothing better than capturing that glow, so you can remember it forever.
My favorite is the outdoor sisters at Vanderveer. I have a soft spot for sibling pics and I just LOVE the expressions she caught outdoors. Great job! 🙂

Not including Kali’s newborn pictures of course, I would have to say my other favorite session is Baby Lincolns! It is hard to pick a favorite, as all of the sessions are beautiful. Jackie, you do an amazing job of capturing the personalities of your clients in stunning portraits. If I had to pick a favorite, it would have to be the Halverson family…they are just too cute for words and the outdoor scenes are perfect!

ok so I see everyone is giving me a run for my money, but I would LOVE a shot at some pics of my little family! Since I had my second son, we have gotten family pics only once, and we only got ONE good shot. Needless to say, we are due for more pics! pps…i forgot to say my favorite shoot! i have to agree with a lot of the other moms, i love black and white. especialy for the newborn shots, i love looking at jackie’s website to see the little ones! but i also really love the shots of camye and her family, because i know how hard it can be to get THAT many people to smile and look at the camera at the same time! 🙂
